After the initial maturation in American white oak ex-bourbon casks the whisky is apportioned between first fill ex-bourbon casks, Apostoles and 30 Year Old Matusalem sherry casks and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. The four parts are then brought back together to harmonise. An exquisite fanfare of red grapes and juicy raisins with whispers of chocolate and liquorice.
